Disability Sport and Active Recreation
Sport Northland works with our System partners to ensure play, active recreation and sport opportunities are made available for everyone in the community across the Northland region.
We have established the Northland sport and active recreation disability providers forum for providers and organisations to come together to share, network, collaborate and support one another in enhancing sport and active recreation opportunities for people with disabilities within the Northland region. The forum occurs quarterly, so if you would like to be involved in this forum going forward, please contact Janine Moy, System Lead at Sport Northland.
Sport New Zealand provides information and resources on inclusive sport and recreation to help people and organisations adapt their clubs, programmes and opportunities for people with disabilities.
